Assembly (Business) Meeting-Sept. 1st, 2015

1st VP Michele Gorat conducted the September 1st Club Assembly (aka Business Meeting) in the absence of Club President Kevin O'Connell.  Announcements included:  Community Involvement/Fund Raising Committee will meet on October 6, the Club Foundation Board meets next on October 13, and that the SRC now has a page on Facebook.  Also noted was that $500 has been donated by the Club to the NW United Way for NW CT Childcare Collaborative to assist students in Region 1 schools who need but cannot afford school supplies, i.e. backpacks, notebooks, etc.
