Josh Ginsburg, executive director of Millbrook NY's Cary Institute, returned to the SRC for an encore presentation on what he called "a most remarkable quality institution."  Founded in 1983, the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies is one of the world’s leading independent environmental research organizations, focusing on disease ecology, forest and freshwater health, climate change, urban ecology, and invasive species.  He spoke specifically on being awarded a recent 5M grant to control the tick related to Lyme Disease.
