Lunch Meeting March 8th, 2016

At the club's 3/8 luncheon meeting, Birgitt Parajola spoke about, and showed photos from, her 18-day trip to Iran in April 2015.  A career-long professional travel agent, her insightful comments focused on the people, the culture, the economy and the infrastructure, noting she found that the people were most appreciative of tourists' interest in their country.  She emphasized that the people are not terrorists and that she and her group experienced no interference from the government.
