The Salisbury Rotary Club ended 2019 with its annual Holiday Luncheon and celebrated two milestone events.  Neil Scott was honored and recognized for being a member of the club for 50 years!  A retired Hotchkiss School physics faculty, Neil was SRC President 1982-83, chaired the Club’s Scholarships Committee for many years, continues to serve as an active  member of the committee, and continues to attend the Club’s weekly luncheon meetings.  His wife, Jill, was with him at the Holiday Luncheon as he was recognized.  Among the invited guests was Alice Gustafson whose late husband, Herb, was a long-time SRC member.  Alice was recognized as she celebrated her 100th birthday!

Since Thanksgiving, the Salisbury Rotary Club sold chances to win a Lottery Tree with more than $100 worth of lottery tickets.  Former SRC President, Fran Chapell, drew the winning ticket at the December 10th Holiday Luncheon and the winner was Oliver James Spofford of Egremont.  The club raised $1000 for its Scholarships Fund and other “good works” of the club.
