Substance Abuse and Prevention was the topic covered at the 10/15 luncheon meeting of the Salisbury Rotary Club, and was led by Emma Johnson and Andrew Lyon, both of the McCall Center for Behavioral Health located in Torrington. Emma, a Prevention Facilitator, and Andrew, Coalition Program Supervisor, spoke of the Center’s focus on approaching abuse and addiction in the context of the community in which the individual finds themself, including the family. The Center exists to provide comprehensive, integrated substance abuse and mental health treatment to help people lead healthier and more productive lives. FMI:
