Randy and Fran Chapell from the Salisbury Rotary Club, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Tulum Mexico, donated an iPad to a young Mayan man named Gervasio. Gervasio will be the first person from this small Mayan village in Yaxche to attend college. This is a very big deal as children are encouraged to work in the fields to support the families who have a very meager subsistence. The Tulum Club will be working to raise money for the young man’s tuition as the family has no money and there is almost no government assistance available.
